Our Vision - To set the gold standard of care and support for disabled individuals while fostering excellence among NDIS suppliers.


Our Mission - The National Disability Insurance Scheme Association (NDISA) is committed to creating a community of care that transcends boundaries. We aim to:


  • Advocate for the rights and well-being of disabled individuals within the NDIS.
  • Foster collaboration and innovation among NDIS suppliers.
  • Establish and uphold a code of conduct that promotes quality care and ethical practices.
  • Provide resources and support to help disabled individuals and their families navigate the NDIS.

Dr Niro Sivathasan - Chairman NDISA

Excellence in Healthcare Advocacy

BSc (Hons), MB, BS (Lond), DRCOG, GradDipAesthMed (UK), PGCert BA, MRCS (Eng), AFACP, DU (Plast), FCPCA, FACCSM (Med), FACCSM (Surg), FASCBS, FAACS.


As Chairman of the NDISA, Dr. Niro Sivathasan ‘Dr. Niro' brings a wealth of experience, wisdom and integrity to our association. Charged with leading the NDISA in its mission and upholding its Charter, Dr. Niro Sivathasan’s undergraduate studies were in London. He then undertook specialty training in plastic surgery around the world, and he holds multiple diplomas/ fellowships from key bodies, such as The Royal College of Surgeons of England and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He has published a considerable number of consumer- and scientific- articles, including book chapters, and has served both as a reviewer and an editor for scientific journals. Dr. Niro was a ‘Designated Aviation Medical Examiner’ for Australia’s Civil Aviation Services Authority, and a motorsports doctor in Britain. He has presented scientific topics extensively at the international level, appeared on radio and television, undertaken charitable surgery for the underprivileged in the developing world, and now supports doctors needing medicolegal counsel in addition to being a ‘key opinion leader’ for energy-based devices and for pharma. He strongly believes in autonomy and self-responsibility, and is driven by the pursuit of justice.
